An escape room is an immersive, live experience where your group enters a themed environment filled with puzzles, clues, and interactive challenges. Your objective is to work together, uncover hidden information, and solve the experience’s mysteries before time runs out.

Never. Every session at Off The Couch is completely private — only your group will be in the experience. We do not combine groups or allow strangers to join your booking.

No. You are free to exit at any time. We encourage staying in the experience to preserve immersion and story flow — but your safety and comfort always come first.

Average completion times vary by chapter:

• Chapter 1 — Occam’s Apartment: 105 minutes
• Chapter 2 — Norcross Art Gallery: 90 minutes
• Chapter 3 — The Morgue: 120 minutes

Some experiences include light live actor interactions to enhance immersion. Actors will not remain in shared spaces for the entire experience.

Our experiences are designed for groups and are best enjoyed with multiple players. Solo play may be possible depending on availability and experience type. Contact us directly for details.

Yes — we regularly host birthdays, proposals, and corporate events. For group planning or custom experiences, please contact us directly and we’ll put together the right setup for your occasion.

Safety is a priority for both guests and staff. Our standards include:

• All experiences are private bookings — no shared sessions
• Waivers are required for all participants, completed online from your booking confirmation email or in person when you arrive
• All spaces are regularly cleaned and reset between sessions
• Hand washing is encouraged before and after gameplay
• Staff are trained to support safe and comfortable experiences

Each experience is fully reset and cleaned between every booking — including all interactive and commonly handled items. You’re always starting in a fresh environment.

All guests must be sober during the experience for safety and gameplay integrity.

All experiences can be booked online through our website — it only takes a few minutes and you’ll receive instant confirmation.

We accept all major credit cards and cash payments. A deposit is collected at the time of booking, with the remaining balance settled after your session based on time played.

All sales are final and non-refundable.

You may reschedule your experience up to 48 hours before your booking without a fee. Rescheduling within 48 hours may incur a fee depending on availability and circumstances.

Yes. You may adjust the number of players upon arrival. All bookings are private, and additional players may join within room capacity limits.

Yes, this is often a common request! You can bring additional players, however groups that significantly exceed the listed capacities may experience “too many cooks in the kitchen”. We may recommend booking more than one experience and separating into different teams.

We don’t offer any promotions at this time, however all guests can earn credits based on how quickly they finish their game. Credits can be applied to future visits.

We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes suitable for movement. You’ll be on your feet, exploring — dress accordingly.

We recommend 3–4 players for the best balance of challenge and collaboration. That said, we can accommodate both smaller and larger groups depending on availability. Contact us if you’re unsure what’s right for your group.

Yes — we regularly host corporate team-building events and large group experiences. Our story-driven format is especially effective for building communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a genuinely engaging environment.

We can typically accommodate up to 50 participants depending on scheduling and room availability. Contact us directly for large group planning and we’ll work out the best configuration.

Yes. Outside catering is allowed. Caterers must provide appropriate insurance documentation if required. Many groups also use delivery services such as DoorDash or Uber Eats.
